On Sunday October 21st, 3.45-5.30pm, I will be holding a mini- workshop on the Theory of Yoga Nidra, at the Bicheno Hall annex.
We'll begin with a chai/tea/coffee, and then chat informally about this beautiful guided relaxation meditation practice and the actual workings of it.
Many of you may be familiar with the actual practice of Yoga Nidra, coming to a 30 minute session, lying in shavasana, and once fully comfortable, listening to the teacher guide you through the practice.
This workshop will go a little further to give insights into & examine each stage of the practice, including Sankalpa, and how to create and use one, and the way each stage has a particular effect/benefit on the body, mind & emotions.
Perhaps bring a friend who may benefit from YN, and any questions you may have been wanting to ask - I'll do my best to give clear, easy to understand answers.
The session will finish with a 30 minute Yoga Nidra, to leave you feeling refreshed and energised to start your week.
All mats, blankets, bolsters will be provided.
